ASK: To celebrate 20 years of Neutrogena®’s “Splash” campaign, the brand wanted to create an immersive event that took their guests back to the early 2000’s when the campaign first launched. As this was the first in-person event post-COVID for the brand, they also wanted to leverage this event as an employee appreciation event, where they could also celebrate the great work being
accomplished by their teams.

STRATEGY: X7 brought Neutrogena®’s vision for this event to life by curating a poolside activation in a mansion in Los Angeles, California. This event leaned into Y2K nostalgia, showcasing to guests the bridging of Neutrogena®’s past to their present. The guest experience for “Make A Splash” included a variation of custom-built festival-style stations that brought forth the spirit of Y2K, a multitude of photo opportunities (one included for attendees to recreate their own version of the
“Splash” commercial), Y2k themed food and beverages, a Dance Dance Revolution machine, a closet filled with Y2k goodies and an array of Neutrogena products for attendees to take as a gift and much more!
